Local 6th graders grow garden at Enloe Medical Center

CHICO, Calif. - Three 6th graders from Nord Country School broke ground on their garden project at the Enloe Medical Center Wednesday morning.
The pandemic shot down hopes for a science fair, but these kids were up for the challenge their independent study teacher, Falyn Beshwate presented to them.
Beshwate based this project after the popular Lexus Eco Challenge, but with the only prize being developing new skills and the success of the student’s teamwork.
