Mark Pegram was sentenced at Suffolk Magistrates Court - Credit: Sarah Lucy brown An Essex man who smashed the screen of a cash machine after it did not dispense his money has been ordered to pay for repairs.  Magistrates heard how Mark Pegram, 21, got frustrated when the ATM at the Bentley service station, near Ipswich, did not dish out the £40 he had requested.  Pegram, of Rayner Road, Colchester, was on his way home on October 10 last year having been out with a sibling, the court heard.  He arrived at the services in a taxi and wanted to get £40 out for the fare and to give some to his brother.

Marc Wilcox threatened staff member at Stowmarket station

Marc Wilcox was sentenced for the offence at Stowmarket Railway Station - Credit: Archant A drunken man who threatened to knock out a member of staff at Stowmarket Railway Station has been ordered to pay compensation.  Marc Wilcox, 42, was heavily intoxicated when he was seen staggering around the station on October 23 last year, magistrates in Ipswich heard.  Wilcox, who was with another man, had been drinking lager and vodka with friends in Stowmarket and said he was on his way back to Bury St Edmunds.  Norajane Egbulefu, prosecuting, said Wilcox, of Nelson Road, Bury St Edmunds, swore at a member of staff when asked if he had a facemask.
