The Coast is expected to become home to hundreds of baby snakes over the coming months as âsnake noodle seasonâ begins.
Snake hatching season begins in January and runs through to March after the conclusion of a four-month mating season.
Snake Catcher Noosa owner Luke Huntley said he was expecting baby snakes to be âeverywhereâ.
âAll the snakes are starting to hatch,â he said.
âItâs what we affectionately call snake noodle season.
âOver the Christmas period I was called to six homes where there were carpet pythons wrapped around a clutch of eggs.â
He said each clutch could birth up to 50 pythons.

More than $25,000 was raised through GoFundMe by friend Mark Haskenkam on behalf of his sister Ruth Doyle as Mr Ferguson did not have travel insurance.
The funds have helped Mr Ferguson’s family pay for treatment of terrible injuries suffered after colliding with a Belgian tourist in Phuket. Former Noosa District High student Roger Ferguson.
The Sunshine Coast Daily earlier this year reported his distraught daughter Rachel Ferguson understood he suffered a brain injury and fractured several left ribs which threatened to leave him permanently disabled.
At the time Ms Ferguson said he needed around-the-clock nursing care and was on a ventilator for respiratory problems.
