Iloilo City exec says lockdowns necessary to curb rising cases

Granular lockdown has been imposed in selected areas from the city's 17 barangays with two or more Covid-19 cases, said Jeck Conlu, spokesperson for the Iloilo City Covid team, in an interview on Wednesday. "It is possible that the number will increase if there are local transmissions. The areas, sitio (zones), compound or houses are locked down while we are conducting contact tracing, swabbing and isolation," he said.
