If the provincial ANC’s “wish list” of possible nominations for MPs and MPLs is anything to go by, former Buffalo City Metro mayor Xola Pakati, as well as his former deputy, are likely to be off to parliament after the 2024 general elections with more provincial big guns likely to secure top jobs.
