THE wife of late former rugby player Lindani Myeni (29) described him as a loving, caring and truthful man.
Lindsay Myeni was speaking at his funeral service at Esikhawini College, northern KZN, on Saturday, 8 May.
She said the truth must be spoken, no matter how hard it may be.
Myeni was shot and killed last month by Honolulu cops in Hawaii in the US.
With the KZN government’s intervention, his body was brought to Mzansi last Saturday.

DURBAN - A memorial service is expected to be held in Empangeni on Thursday for Lindani Myeni, the South African man who was shot dead by police in the United States last month.
The 29-year-old rugby player, who was married to an American national, was killed by members of the Honolulu Police Dpartment in Hawaii following an altercation.

JOHANNESBURG - The South African government has offered to bring the remains of former rugby player Lindani Myeni back home, the family of 29-year-old told the SABC.
The father of two was shot and killed during an alleged altercation with Honolulu police in the US state of Hawaii.
