Exit Polls: Clear victory for TRS and YSRCP in bypolls:- The scheduled Assembly elections across the country concluded yesterday and the exit polls are announced. As per the predictions, the leading and ruling parties of Telugu states TRS and YSRCP will end up victorious in the recent Nagarjunasagar and Tirupati bypolls. The Nagarjunasagar bypoll was held after the sudden demise of the sitting MLA Nomula Narasimhaiah. TRS is expected to dominate the polls and end up with huge majority. Narasimhaiah s son Nomula Bhagath contested in the polls from the ruling party. Congress leader K Jana Reddy contested against Bhagath.

Nagarjunasagar: Nagarjunasagar Assembly constituency and Tirupati Parliamentary constituency in the Telugu states are all set for by-election polling.
The authorities have made all arrangements for polling.
While polling stations had already been set up, the focus is on the precautions to be taken in the wake of a coronavirus outbreak. Mask has been made mandatory for voters.

About 41 candidates are contesting in the Nagarjunasagar by-election. 346 polling stations have been set up in the constituency. As many as 2,20,300 voters are expected to cast their ballots in the polls, which began at 7 am today and the polling would continue up to 7 pm as the Election Commission of India has extended the polling time by two hours because of COVID norms. TRS candidate Nomula Bhagath, son of late MLA Nomula Narasimhaiah shared that he is confident about his victory in the Nagarjunasagar by-election. Giving credit to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s schemes, he shared that the CM’s programmes and welfare policies have earned them goodwill.
Bhagat said that he is confident about his victory and right now he is not just focusing on the results but also on winning with a majority.
