SAFA National Women’s League week 2 round up
3 May 2021 – Week 2 of the exciting 2021 SAFA National Women’s League season saw many of the teams coming back from behind to secure the three points.
Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies beat Durban Ladies 3-1 in KwaMashu but had to come from behind as they had to sweat for all the three points.
TUT Ladies managed to get the first win of the season away from home, securing a vital 1 -0 win over hosts Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies, while the University of Johannesburg also secured their first win of the season with a 3-2 win over Tsunami Queens.
