This winter we’ve seen lots of snow and rain here in southern Arizona and it’s added to the water supply. In spite of that, we’re also in the middle of a megadrought and water usage is predicted to increase over the coming years due to climate change.
Some states are using a technique called cloud seeding to produce more snow and rain. So, how about drought-stricken Arizona? It's not being done here yet, but it's something local agencies are researching.
