The Edmonds Lions Club is hosting an online fundraiser for the Edmonds Food Bank, and all are invited to contribute.
In past years, the Lions Club would raffle off gift cards donated by local restaurants, with proceeeds to benefit for the food bank.
But with restaurants experiencing lower than normal business due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the club decided to forgo the raffle this year and replace it with a GoFundMe drive. The goal is to raise $1,000.

Boston College High School
Several Bridgewater residents were named to the honor roll for the first quarter of the 2020-21 school year at Boston College High School in Boston. Students who earned high honors are James Gerritsen, Kyle Stiles-Ryan, Andrew McCarthy, Andrew Norman, Anthony Malcolm, Ethan Ross and Liam Smith. To earn high honors, a sophomore, junior and senior must have a quality point average of 3.8 or higher and all grades must be “C-plus” or higher. Freshmen must have a quality point average of 3.6 or higher and all grades must be “C-plus” or higher. Students who earned honors are Joshua Milso, Liam Woods, Jon Bobillier, Liam Lynch, Ryan Ourique, James Bracken, Nolan Green, Ryan Kane, Cameron King, Ryan McGuire and Connor Rizvi. To earn honors, a sophomore, junior and senior must have a quality point average of 3.2 or higher and all grades must be “C-minus” or higher.
