2 killed in head-on crash on U.S. Highway 84 in Nolan County
Two people were killed in a three-vehicle crash in Nolan County Wednesday night when one of the vehicles was traveling the wrong direction on U.S. Highway 84, according to a Texas Department of Public Safety news release.
At about 7:10 p.m., Kaitlin Jeanne Rodriguez, 28, of Sweetwater was driving a 2015 Nissan Armada eastbound in the westbound lane of the highway at mile marker 438, DPS said based on a preliminary report.
The Armada collided head on with a westbound 2003 Chevrolet pickup driven by Ramon Anthony Guzman, 47, of Snyder. The pickup then collided with a westbound 2017 Dodge pickup driven by Russell William Starks, 27, of Harper, Kansas, the release said.
