We are going to be looking likely a lot of records broken today with a a whole lot of the bay area rising well into the 90s where were sitting at Half Moon Bay this morning. Look at how Crystal Clear it is. What a nice morning. Now that the suns up, i encourage you to take full advantage of these cooler morning hours. Get outside, take that dog walk. Anything youve got to do before the heat of the afternoon really arrives. Current temperatures are in the 50s for most spots, although a couple of exceptions, notably pacific a year at 40 or sorry, 73 degrees right now. Santa rosa petaluma sitting at 51. Well, berkeley at 57. So a nice cool start, at least get those windows open at that cool breeze in before the heat gets here later on today.
And weve got an even hotter. One in the forecast today for a lot of areas. So get ready for the heat all over again. Hopefully were able to get to a cool spot yesterday. Look at this between Half Moon Bay and pacific up from 48 to 74 degrees. Some of us this morning were tapping into ocean cool there. While others not at all. And you can see that reflected in your current temperatures. 40s to 70s for current numbers. Most of us in the 50s and 60s right now. Good chance to get outside. Cool down for a little bit. Pressure really strengthened overnight tonight. Weve already got the warm temperatures around the bay area now. So were off and running tomorrow with warm weather. These temperatures are going to soar. It is clear all the way the Golden Gate Bridge not seeing that fog out there. Remember last night we did have some dense fog along the coastline little more than offshore wind kicking in. Check out the temperatures. 71 of layoffs. 75 degrees downtown San Francisco. 71 in san jose, 70 in hayward and 70 in san carlos. So the numbers running unseasonably warm National Weather service issuing an excessive heat advisory that will continue until 11 oclock tomorrow night. That extends all the way from the north bay, the east bay, the santa clara valley, up the peninsula and into San Francisco. And these temperatures are going to be something else.
