Gautam Budh Nagar (Uttar Pradesh) [India], February 16 (ANI): Noida Police has arrested two persons including a constable of the Cyber Crime Police Station for allegedly demanding money from officials of a company located in Sector-65 area of the city.
The accused persons have been identified as Constable Nitin Chaudhary and Sonu, a resident of Modi Nagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The Police arrested them after lodging an FIR at Phase-3 Police Station of Noida.
Central Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Harish Chandra told ANI on Monday, While probing a case, Sub-Inspector Chetan Prakash and five constables of Cyber Crime Police Station went to the company regarding a case. They brought three company staff to the police station and released them after taking Rs 2 lakhs.

With the arrest of five people, including four women, the Noida Police on Tuesday claimed to have busted a gang that allegedly looted customers after luring them in the garb of escort services in Delhi-NCR.
The gang, which includes a married couple based in Delhi, used social media and other online platforms to publicise their services, Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh S said.
The officer said the gang, which had been active for more than a year in the region, has been busted by officials of the local Sector 24 police station.
A case against six police personnel in Uttar Pradesh have been filed over alleged extortion and corruption, and one of them has been arrested along with a private individual, the Noida police said on Monday.

NOIDA: An elderly couple was found dead at their residence in Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh on Friday with the police suspecting that they were murdered by some acquaintances after a house party, according to officials.
The body of Suman Nath, aged around 65, was found inside the house, while that of her husband Narendra Nath, around 70, was recovered from the basement of the building, a senior officer said.
Greater Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Kumar Singh said the incident took place in Alpha 2 sector and police teams and forensic experts were inspecting the site.
