RNC officer Noelle Laite was sentenced Monday to four months of jail followed by a year of probation for assaulting her former intimate partner over the span of two years.
Const. Noelle Laite was convicted Wednesday of assaulting her former domestic partner. On Friday, the chief of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said she had been suspended without pay.
