A gaming company in Pune is making waves with their mythology-based games
The idea for Raji: An Ancient Epic came to Avichal on New Year’s Eve 2013 at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. Completely awed by the beauty of “Patwon ki Haveli”, a palace built in the nineteenth century, Avichal wondered if this could be in a video game
While the whole world is making the most of technology to share information, Nodding Heads Games (NHG), a gaming company based in Pune, Maharashtra, found a smart way to get the digitally proficient generation immerse into the intricacies of Indian mythology.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise. Ghost of Tsushima (review) blew all of us away; making you feel like you were bang in the middle of one of those samurai movies of old. Raji: An Ancient Epic is a video game set in ancient India.
Chaos unfolds as demons invade to conquer the human realm with ambitions to overthrow the mighty gods themselves. Amidst this chaos, a girl is chosen, her destiny to face the demon lord Mahabalasura. The demon lord plans to sacrifice Raji s very own younger brother, which will complete a ritual granting him relentless powers.
Blessed by the gods, Raji set s on her journey to rescue her younger brother, and to face the treacherous Mahabalasura.
