Why India may be better off if High Courts hear Covid-19 cases instead of Supreme Court

Over 15 More AIS Officers Likely To Get Posting In J&K Soon: Report

SRINAGAR: Nearly 18 more officers of the All India Services (AIS) are likely to be posted in Jammu and Kashmir shortly after No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from various departments, some of whom are natives of the Union Territory while the Central Government has decided to create one single department to facilitate posting in J&K amidst reports that some of the officers have applied to their own State/UT Governments where they are posted, others to DoPT or J&K Government, reported Daily Excelsior. Over a dozen AIS officers including IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and other Services have been posted in Jammu and Kashmir during the past few months ever since the Union Ministry of Home Affairs sought applications from the senior officers for posting in the Union Territory in view of the shortage of officers.
