Luxury cruise liner Crystal has announced summer 2021 voyages of Crystal Endeavor, the companyâs groundbreaking expedition ship. The company has said that after the five 10-night luxury Iceland expeditions circumnavigating Iceland and crossing the Arctic Circle, it has opened for reservations and are already are booked at over 50 per cent of capacity.

Crystal Endeavor’s upcoming “Luxury Iceland Expeditions,” beginning July 17, 2021. The first ship for Crystal Expedition Cruises will sail round-trip from its homeport of Reykjavík on five consecutive 10-night voyages circumnavigating Iceland and crossing the Arctic Circle exploring geothermal wonders, glaciers, waterfalls, rare sea bird colonies and migrating whales, remote valleys and villages throughout Iceland.

Crystal Endeavor is designed to accommodate just 200 guests with a one-to-one crew-to-guest ratio. Built at a cost of more than half a billion U.S. dollars at MV Werften,
Crystal Endeavor is touted by the cruise line as the fastest and most powerful expedition ship in the industry, with a Polar Class 6 classification that enables it to sail in the Arctic and Antarctic regions.

Beginning July 17, the 200-passenger ship will offer round-trip sailings from the capital of Reykjavik with reduced capacity.
Bookings for the Endeavor s Luxury Iceland Expedition open April 13. The ship was supposed to launch last August. The ship s timeline was delayed by the shutdown of MV Werften, the German shipyard where the Endeavor is being built.
