The Henderson County Tourism Development Authority has announced the winners of the Henderson County Merchant and Home Holiday Display Contests. Each year the merchants become more creative with their festive storefront displays, the TDA said in a news release. This was the first year the HCTDA sponsored a Home Decoration Contest, which proved to be a very popular activity with families offering eye-catching presentations.
The decoration contests offered residents an apportunity to celebrate the season while practicing social distancing by viewing the entries by car or foot.
Home Decoration Contest winners
There were 23 participants in the first Holiday Home Decoration Contest. The first-place winner was the Fletcher family at 318 Pressley Road in Hendersonville.
