National Society of High School Scholars Nobel Week Goes Virtual

Coinciding with Nobel Prize Day, NSHSS will facilitate the organization’s annual Nobel Week for high school scholars virtually this year.
The selective week-long program that would normally be held at the University of Stockholm will continue virtually and include many of the same elements of the traditional program. ATLANTA (PRWEB) December 18, 2020 The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) will orchestrate their educational summit virtually this year in response to COVID-19 related restrictions. Nobel Week 2020 will began Monday, December 7 with a free webinar for students to kick off the week of activities. In most years, to honor NSHSS co-founder Claes Nobel, NSHSS invites 25-30 impressive members of the organization from around the world to partake in the scholastic seminars.

Frank Wilczeks 2004 Nobel Prize in Physics made him one of the most widely recognized researchers in the world, even outside his field. He now spends much of his time as a professor in theoretical physics at Stockholm University and the Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics. Professor Wilczek combines these responsibilities with an impressive array of other academic roles; he is the Herman Feshbach Professor of Physics at MIT in the U.S., professor in residence at Arizona State University a few months every year, and he also makes time to visit the new physics institute in Hangzhou, China, which bears his name.
