Cuban president grateful for nomination of doctors for Nobel Prize
Havana, Feb 10 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Wednesday thanked the people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for nominating the Henry Reeve Medical Contingent for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize.
The president also thanked Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves and his cabinet on Twitter for acknowledging the work of the brigades, specialized in serious epidemics and disasters and who have collaborated in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in several countries.
Recently, the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines unanimously approved the nomination of Cuban health professionals for this important prize, due to their outstanding work in defense of people s lives across the world.
