A group of pro-Palestine protesters with Jewish Voice for Peace are facing jail time for blocking a Denver street during a global conference for Israel.
A teachers' union official affiliated with the National Education Association was arrested in Denver for shutting down a busy intersection outside of a prominent Jewish conference, records reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon show.
This weekend's rally comes just after the end of the one-week ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, and nearly two months after the conflict first started, with Hamas militants attacking several areas in Israel, killing over 1,200 people and taking hundreds of hostages, according to Israeli officials.
