Giles County authorities are asking the public to be on the lookout for a 2-year-old boy who was reportedly abducted from a church in Ripplemead on Sunday.
The county Sheriffâs Office said Noah Gabriel Trout was taken from a nursery at Riverview Baptist Church by an unidentified woman sometime in the afternoon. Virginia State Police issued an Amber Alert and said the boy is believed to be in âextreme danger.â
The woman left in a dark-colored van or SUV from the church in the 200 block of Big Stony Creek Road, according to the sheriffâs office. Authorities did not have any information about who the suspect may be.

Officials say Noah Gabriel Trout is believed to be extreme danger after last being seen on Big Stoney Creek Road in the Ripplemead area.
Trout is described as 2-feet-9-inches tall, 33 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a royal blue shirt with an orange jacket.

Authorities in Virginia issued an Amber Alert for a missing 2-year-old child who was abducted from a nursery Sunday afternoon. Police say the boy, identified as Noah Gabriel Trout, is believed to be in extreme danger.
The child was taken from the Riverview Baptist Church s nursery in Ripplemead by an unidentified female, officials with the Giles County Sheriff s Office said. The child was wearing a gray t-shirt and a bright orange jacket at the time. The child also has a red birthmark on the back of his neck.
