Charli XCX, No Rome, and The 1975 have dropped their anticipated collaborative single, Spinning.
The upbeat pop anthem arrives after years of teasing from the trio of Dirty Hit signees, with Matt Healy of The 1975 first suggesting something was in the works back in 2019.
Blending each artist s styles, the track is a synth-filled, dancefloor-ready banger that rolls out over a thumping disco-influenced electronic beat. Charli discussed her experience of working with No Rome and The 1975 in a tweet: I think Rome and The 1975 guys are so talented, it s honestly so cool to have this song with them. I feel like we all speak the same musical language in some way, and that language is stunning/exquisite/tasteful and chic.

London-based Filipino pop star No Rome has enlisted Charli XCX and the 1975 for a new single titled Spinning.
Produced by No Rome with Matthew Healy and George Daniel the track, Spinning is being released on 7-inch pink vinyl via Dirty Hit. Physical editions will also come with a remix by PC Music s A. G. Cook.
In addition to the release, Japanese artist Hideyuki Tanaka and designer Samuel Burgess-Johnson have teamed up to create animated characters for the artists involved in the effort. The art will be auctioned off on NFT platform Foundation in support of three charities, Right Start, Girls Make Beats and One Tree Planted.
Charli XCX has begun teasing a Matty Healy and No Rome supergroup .
All three have been productive during lockdown, with Charli XCX even creating a Mercury nominated album.
Matty Healy is said to be working on material with beabadoobee, while it seems fellow Dirty Hit signing No Rome is also going to be busy.
Using Twitter, Charli XCX teased the potential supergroup, but refused to give away any other details.
