Vicky Riba, 51, earns her living picking oranges for farmers near her impoverished village of Ga-Mamphahlane, outside Burgersfort, Limpopo.
Until recently she owned two pieces of land near the village in the mineral-rich Garatouw area, where she planted wheat.
