The garda involved in the fatal shooting of George Nkencho has been informed he will not face prosecution in connection with the death of the 27-year-old.

The George Nkencho Coalition is calling for an independent inquiry into the death of the 27 year old.
He died in December after being shot by gardai near his home in West Dublin.
The family and supporters have asked the Minister for Justice to launch an independent public inquiry, separate to the GSOC investigation.

The group has criticised the pace of that investigation, and says justice delayed is justice denied.
