Biofilm-like accumulation, leaky roof: Dauphin County restaurant inspections

The following Dauphin County restaurants were found to have violated Pennsylvania’s health and safety regulations during inspections between Feb. 14-20.
Inspections are overseen by the Department of Agriculture. The department notes that in many cases violations are corrected by the restaurant before inspectors leave.

Violations: Fan guards on the refrigeration unit in the walk-in cooler have an accumulation of static dust. Exterior door located in the kitchen area of the food facility has a gap and does not protect against the entry of pests. Observed sections of the tile floor and base of the wall in the kitchen area to be damaged or missing tiles, requiring repair.
