Nissan has announced that the new Kicks is now on sale across the US, starting at $19,500 for the Kicks S model. The next step up line is the Kicks SV, priced at $21,300. The third available model is the Kicks SR, priced at $21,940.
All of those MSRP’s are in addition to an $1150 destination and handling charge. Nissan is offering a new SR premium package for the 2021 Kicks. Only front-wheel-drive versions are available. Along with an updated exterior, the vehicles also have updated interior styling.
Buyers now get standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on all grades and NissanConnect Services, a suite of convenience and security features. Those features include an available Wi-Fi hotspot, remote vehicle commands, and safety features, including Automatic Collision Notification. The vehicles have a standard 7.0-inch touchscreen with an 8.0-inch color touchscreen on both SV and SR grades

Alongside the new Frontier pick-up, Nissan has also revealed the fifth-generation Pathfinder at a virtual event today. The company’s flagship three-row monocoque SUV has been shorn of its predecessor’s smooth styling, instead adopting the chiselled looks of the body-on-frame Patrol/Armada.
That means the Pathfinder wears the latest Nissan SUV design language, sporting a massive V-motion grille – with three slots at the top to mimic the original, also sold here as the Terrano – and distinctive C-shaped LED headlights. Prominent front and rear fender bulges give the car added muscle and definition, joined together by a faint U-shaped impression on the body side.

Previewed by a concept car at the 2014 São Paulo International Motor Show in Brazil, the Kicks received a mid-cycle refresh for the 2021 model year. Nissan couldn’t make a case for all-wheel drive, and even though a hybrid is available in Thailand, the U.S. won’t be treated to that option. 29 photos
It’s a pretty affordable crossover, though, at $19,500 excluding destination charge for the well-equipped base trim. The mid-range grade can be had from $21,300, and the top-of-the-line version can be ordered from $21,940.
How does the Kicks compare to rivals, you may be wondering? The 2021 Chevrolet Trax comes to mind, which starts at $21,400 excluding freight at the time of writing. The Honda HR-V ($21,220) is a good alternative too, and the same can be said about the Hyundai Kona ($20,500).
