Nirmala Salam, AMAND executive stated that severe punishments must be given to all the people involved in this crime and they as a Meitei community are strictly against such barbaric acts.
Kulabidhu Chanam, president of AMAND, said that violence has badly affected all the communities and students of Manipur and urged the government to ensure steps to bring normalcy in the state as soon as possible. Organizers appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help citizens of the state.
