Lemonweir Elementary School in Tomah welcomes back students

The school has operated with a 45-15 calendar since 2017.
After so much changed last year, many students and teachers are excited to get back to class.
“The kids can be outside mixing within their grade level. We were able to have kids be in the lunch room, which was nice. Kids going to their ‘mapes’, which ‘mapes’ is music, art, [Physical Education], things like that. So really just getting back to some normalcy,” said Lemonweir Elementary principal Nina Swanson.
