In Rye, King wins Select Board race; Ross and Hodgdon win library seats
RYE Deferred from March, Rye voters headed to the polls Tuesday, electing school and town officials and easily approving both warrants.
Challenger Tom King defeated incumbent selectman Mae Bradshaw on a vote of 762 to 444. Bradshaw had served the board for 10 months, after she was chosen to replace Keri Roman, who resigned.
Incumbent Jeff Ross and JoAnn Hodgdon won the Library Trustee seats, defeating Bruce Valley and Thomas Moulton. A fifth person on the ballot, Anne Decker had previously withdrawn from the race but not in time to have her name removed from the ballot.
