Washington, D.C. The Center for American Progress announced today that Nina Palmer is joining the organization’s National Security and International Policy team as a senior fellow. Palmer will be part of CAP’s Asia team and lead the team’s work on U.S.-China policy.
Palmer joins CAP from the Albright Stonebridge Group, a global business strategy firm. She previously served as the attaché for the U.S. Department of Energy in Beijing and, before that, as the senior East Asia analyst in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Security Division, where she produced analysis on U.S.-China climate negotiations, China’s Belt and Road Initiative, and U.S. security policy in Asia.
