Ice jams on the Delaware River historically have been problem for his area. Is Flood Warning is now in effect. The big concern is reaching a flood stage of 20 feet. That just happened as of 11 15 this morning. Meteorologist Matt Peterson says flood waters just surpassed that and we now entered minor flooding. So this is how this happen. Recent warm temperatures and rain led to ice breaking up and flowing down the river. Well that caused ice literal toll jam up on the Delaware River. Water levels quickly rose just after midnight.
