so those voters come to you. it s not going to happen by osmosis presidential. there aren t a lot of delawasantis voters to split up. something that s evaporated from the republican party. the idea that even if you like donald trump, you got to vote for somebody else to try to beat joe biden. that s the one thing that really destabilized desantis and haley. everybody else. for a long time, that was the conventional wisdom. but the worst thing that ever happened to desantis and hah lee were all these swing state polls showing donald trump beating joe biden. i don t know if he s destined to beat him. but in the average mind, the strategic voting argument is completely devastated when you pick up the paper or your twitter feed in the morning, and you re like, wait a minute, the guy that i really like, the original, the authentic thing is actually beating joe biden and vindication is the at hand.
nikki haley is representing the broader view there. but on the flip side, you have donald trump on another network today actually going against ron desantis saying he wants the six-week ban and basically saying we need to be pragmatic. her answer reflects both the pro life and a majoritarian in the republican party viewpoint, whereas donald trump is just flip flopping on it. it s going to be on the ballot in florida. what did you make of that? i just want i have to go back to governor sununu a minute. i m a little obsessed with him and i didn t get a chance to say something. when nikki haley s most prominent surrogate right now right after a debate basically says he would vote for donald trump, a convicted felon, i think at the end of the day, all of these policies, yes, it s important. it s interesting. but this is donald trump s
look small. desantis settled down. and haley, continued to be rattled. i think haley overplayed her hand on this website business. i think it cratered her throughout the night. it sounded like someone to me, the more she went to that well, like someone that couldn t defend their own record. like a rhetorical sandwich board. the more she went to it, the more annoying it was throughout the night. the immigration exchange to your point was critical. i thought desantis won on that. something that haley did that i appreciate. she does not have the majority position on ukraine. for the republican party, she does not have the majority position. she stuck to her guns and defended it better than most politicians do. desantis, where he was on that topic was right where the republican primary voters are. i appreciated haley because that s my position. i appreciated what haley said. but in that exchange, desantis
