Sony Electronics has just launched a pair of new Crystal LED Modular direct view displays just prior to the virtual Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2021. It aims at providing solutions for virtual production, an area that has received heightened interest in the production and media industry after various projects such as the Mandalorian was released.

The Mandalorian, a Lucasfilm utilized a production technique using a technology called StageCraft, which became a revolutionary virtual production solution. According to The Verge, the technology used for the Mandalorian uses gigantic screens with photorealistic environments that allowed production teams to create sets that resembled realistic locations and shoot it in camera. The same technology allowed the movie team to film even amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

EA Sports has just recently released a series of changes of next gen Madden 21 , providing new features and series to the original mode. GamePur notes that despite them stating that no major changes would happen in the game until the next installment, huge shifts have occurred in the newest Madden 21 update. The Xenia Xe notebook has a CNC-machine anodized aluminum chassis that is covered with a 15.6 inch Full-HD IPS 400-nits display. The relatively thin notebook has a gaming touch it with the chassis light bar on the front panel. The laptop is measured at only 11-14.9 mm thick and weighs at around 3.6 pounds. It also comes with a touch support and an ultra-thin 4.9-millimeter bezels, which makes the device slim and narrow.

The XPG Xenia Xe machine functions using Intel s quad-core Core i5-1135G7 or Core i7-1165G7 processor using the version of Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7. It also has 80/96 execution units which means that it houses 640/768 stream processors up to 1.6/2 FP32 TFLOPS of performance. The processor s memory is powered by 16GB of 128-bit LPDDR4X capacity and an up to 1TB XPG Gammix S50 Lite SSD. It also features a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface with up to 3500 MB/s sequential read and 3200 MB/s sequential read.
