Australia s largest travelling Paralympic team have headed to Tokyo and are hoping to create just as many golden moments as their Olympics counterparts just weeks ago.
Australian Paralympic rower, Erik Horrie has made history after winning a silver medal at the Tokyo games, becoming the first ever Paralympic rower to win three medals adding to his London and Rio haul.

At the annual event, Gretchen Hewlett was honored as the Woman of Distinction for 2021. She is the chief development officer for the Foundation for Santa Barbara City College. Hewlett was instrumental in creating the SBA’s Giving Forward Fund and Committee.
She has been a long-time member and served on the SBA Board of Directors for many years. Her career and work ethics inspire the SBA Vision of Women in Leadership Positions – Making Connections, Sharing Expertise, Inspiring Confidence, Encouraging Growth.
SBA was founded in 1981 and has been affiliated with the University Club of Santa Barbara since 1983. SBA membership, which is by invitation, includes about 200 members and 10 honorary members.
