An official from Deccan police station stated that BJP workers hurled ink at the car carrying Wagle who was traveling under police protection to the 'Nirbhay Bano' event organized by Rashtra Seva Dal in the Singhad Road area.
Nikhil Wagle’s car was attacked as he headed for a meeting of the Nirbhay Bano Manch in Pune. Stones were pelted at the car by BJP workers who also threw bricks, eggs and ink at it.
AAP Pune chief Mukund Kirdat said the manner in which the Pune police remained spectators during the attack on Nikhil Wagle’s car clearly showed that it was done at the behest of the Shinde-Fadnavis government.
