Ketaki Chitale was arrested on May 14 and was released on bail in June by Thane sessions court. She has a total 22 cases filed against her in the entire state.

The Bombay High Court clubbed all the FIRs lodged against Marathi actor Ketaki Chitale and student Nikhil Bhamre, accused of uploading defamatory posts against NCP president Sharad Pawar, at the police station where the first case was lodged.
In an interim relief, the Court ordered that FIRs against Chitale be transferred to Kalwa police station whereas those against Bhamre be transferred to the Naupada police station.
