Ati Motors raises USD 3 5 mn funding

Excelsior Correspondent MUMBAI, July 15: Bangalore based all-electric autonomous industrial vehicle maker Ati Motors has raised USD 3.5 million (about Rs 26.12 crore) in a funding round, led by Blume Ventures and Exfinity Venture Partners, among others. The pre-series funding will be deployed for manufacturing and deployment of a large fleet of autonomous vehicles in factories and warehouses, in both domestic and global markets, the company said on Wednesday. Ati Motors had earlier raised a seed fund from Village Global – a Bay Area based-early stage fund backed by some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos among others, according to the release.

Major breakthrough in smuggling of liquor

Excelsior Correspondent KATHUA, May 27: In a major breakthrough against the trade of illicit liquor menace in the district, Kathua Police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua, R C Kotwal today recovered six cartoons containing 72 bottles of illicit liquor in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS), Kathua and three persons were arrested. Police said a team of PS Kathua led by Inspector, Vijay Kumar, SHO under the supervision of DySP Headquarters, Shammi Kumar during the naka checking duty in its jurisdictional area apprehended two persons namely Tanveer Singh, son of Kuldeep Singh and his accomplice namely Gourav Fotra, son of Ravi Dass both residents of Nagri who were plying their motorbike bearing Registration Number, PB06AU-4397.

She emphasised that they have to read books to become golden human beings. Saying that reading books does not mean just reading textbooks, she urged the students of all levels to read as many books as possible in addition to their textbooks.
