Pandemic stories: Marion woman tends to bodies and souls
Andy Fillmore
Myra Sherman is looking at the COVID-19 pandemic from two perspectives.
Sherman has served as pastor of the 75-member Reddick Church of God since 2018. She also has worked for 13 years as a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse (APNR) at Ocala Health s Family Care Specialists in Tealbrook Professional Center in southeast Ocala. I bow before God and pray before I see my first patient and after I see my last patient, Sherman said.
Sherman said God entrusted her with people s souls as a pastor, and as a medical professional she protects patients physical health by following CDC guidelines at both church and the medical setting.
