Hello my friends and as you can see Night Trax has moved to a new day but same time Midnight - 2:00am and after 4 years back to a weekly schedule and this week s show is no exception as we continue to celebrate all things love with the second of two Valentine s Days shows. Great to be back on a weekly schedule and a new day every late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning at my same time and I hope your Valentine s Days was good. Happy Holidays Everyoine and this is a very special edition of Night Trax, my last live broadcast for 2023 and its been a year of ups and downs and I had mt share of success and defeats but most importantly my first full year back in the on air studio since returning in October 2022. This past year we lost a few big names in entertainment including Ottawa s own Matthew Perry, lengendary host of The Price Is Right Bob Barker who passed away in late August at 99 and hosted from 1972 till his retirement in 2007 and legendary producer and puppet maker Marty Krofft who left us on November 25th at age 86. On a brighter note I want to thank my family, friends, fellow Special Olympics athletes across Ottawa, the lEastern District and across Canada but most of all you the listeners for tuning in every two weeks and making this show a huge success that is. Hoping you all have a safe, happy and healthy New Year ahead and all the best for 2024. Take care evceryone and hope you enjoy the show.
Hello Everyone: All set for another funtasric eedition of Night Trax and hard to believe after this week s broadcast only 2 more shows left for the year 2023 and in less than 2 months will be celebrating 10 years of hosting Night Trax. Hello Everyone and back for another edition of Night Trax and my apologies for not being here 2weeks ago I was feeling under the weather but a huge thanks to my fellow friends and family for all your get well wishes and on a sombre note my fellow friend and follower Shirley Regan passed away peacefully 3 weeks ago at the age of 91 and even though she left the physial world she still lives on in the spirit world where s she s in a better place flying with angels and will be missed by her family and yours truly her 3rd favorite son. My thoughts and condolences go out to the entire Regan Family and she would want her life to be celebrated with some of her favorite tune which I will be spinning after the comedy break. To my my dearly departed friend not a day goes by do thank you for being one of my keys to success but for also giving me advice to always follow my dreams, do what I do best and always find my happy place and always go out with a happy face. Hello Everyone and all set for another edition of Night Trax and on a very sad note this past early Monday morning myself and my fellow members of the Orleans Alley Cats bowling group with the Special Olympics Ontario Ottawa - Eastern District lost a very close friend and athlete Sandra Davis after a brife battle with stomach cancer at the age of 64. Even though she left the physical world she will live on in the spirit world now that she s in a better place. On a brighter note going to start of the show with a Classic Rock Album Side with Side One of Bad Company s 1974 debut self titled album and aas always lots of music, fun and a comedy break as well. I do want to thank my fellow friends, athletes and listeners for the past 10 plus days. It goes to show that is doesn t matter who you are or what you are and its okay not to feel okay.
