Published April 29, 2021, 7:22 AM Shin Sung-rok (Instagram)  Korean actor Shin Sung-rok, who played the villain Jae-kyung in the 2013 hit drama “My Love from the Star” and star of the 2020 drama “Kairos,” tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19). His agency, HB Entertainment, confirmed that Shin Sung-rok tested positive for COVID-19 on April 28. His first test, which came out on April 24, showed he was negative for the virus but he was not feeling well the next day during his self-isolation and was retested, which came out positive. Shin Sung-rok, JYJ’s Kim Junsu, and husband and wife Son Jun-ho and musical actress Kim So-hyun were guests on April 21 on the web show “Naver NOW Serizabeth” hosted by Korean golf legend Park Se-ri. They were there to promote their musical “Dracula,” which will start its run on May 18.

(Instagram)  Two members of K-pop boy band D-Crunch have tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19), prompting other Korean artists who appeared on TV music shows with them to undergo testing and isolation. I-Grand Korea, D-Crunch’s agency, announced that members Hyun-wook and O.V both tested positive for COVID-19. “Hyun-wook and O.V were voluntarily tested recently as a precautionary measure because they felt slight flu-like symptoms and in the morning of April 24, it was finally confirmed based on test results,” it said.
