The executives of Nigerian Labour Unions on Monday evening arrived at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the nation’s capital, for a second meeting to avert the planned strike scheduled to begin on Tuesday. The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) of Nigeria had resolved to begin an indefinite nationwide strike starting on October 3, 2023.
