The Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has again come under criticisms for publicly defending Drambi Vandi, the trigger-happy policeman who killed a pregnant Lagos-based lawyer, Mrs Omobolanle Raheem. On December 25, the female lawyer was shot dead by Vandi, an Assistant Superintendent of Police. Raheem, who was pregnant at the time of her death, was shot in the Ajah area of Lagos State. The 41-year-old woman was rushed to a hospital, where she was confirmed dead.

The Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has again come under heavy criticism over his tweet on how civilians should react to assault by officers.   Reacting on Saturday to a viral video where two men were seen wrestling with an armed officer, Adejobi said “even if a policeman on (sic) uniform slaps a civilian, the civilian has no right to retaliate”.

The Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has come under criticisms, over his tweet that a road safety officer who wanted to arrest him for answering a call while driving allowed him to go after noticing he is a policeman. Adejobi had claimed that to every rule, there must be an exception to save some situations. He had written this on his official twitter handle @Princemoye1:
