Rohr has turned Eagles stars to average players – Green

Punch Newspapers Sections Ebenezer Bajela Former Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation’s Technical and Development Committee, Chris Green, has questioned the technical ability of Gernot Rohr, saying the Super Eagles have been average under the tutelage of the Franco-German tactician. Green stated this on Kick and Follow, a PUNCH Online TV programme, on Friday. Rohr, 67, has been in charge of the three-time African champions since 2016. He led the side to the 2018 World Cup in Russia and the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, where the team placed third. Green, who remains unconvinced by the Franco-German competence, said with the quality of players in the national team, the Eagles should be a force to reckon with globally.
