National Open Archery tourney holds March 2 in Abuja

By Thu Jan 28 2021 The Nigeria Archery Federation has announced that it will organise a National Open Championship from March 2 to 6 at the MKO Abiola stadium Abuja and the Mogadishu Barracks in Abuja. The president of the federation, Alhaji Mohammed Abdullahi said the open championship will be used for selection of athletes who would represent Nigeria at the African championship slated for Abidjan in Cote d’Ivoire in July. He added that the tournament would attract athletes from all over the country with the Military and Para-military also featuring. Abdullahi said “19 African countries will participate at the African Championship. It therefore means that we must take our best athletes to the Championship and due to the Covid-19 pandemic we had a lull in our activities last year.
