"Despite the bulls maintaining their upward trajectory for the fourth consecutive session, there s a noticeable lack of momentum," said Rajesh Bhosale, Technical Analyst, Angel One.
Nifty, Sensex jumped nearly 1 percent from day s lows to trade firmly in the green. Traders are advised to consider buying opportunities during any downward movements in the market, said analysts.
"Earnings have taken centre stage among investors with some of the key heavyweights announcing their numbers this week. Overall we expect the market to maintain its ongoing positive momentum along with stock-specific action," said Siddhartha Khemka, Head - Retail Research, Motilal Oswal.
Even though the volatility gauge India VIX has slightly recovered from its previous session lows, analysts suggest investors to wait to see if the index stay near low levels before placing aggressive bets.
