There. Reporter this morning, cal fire says the key to containing the rocky fire is the weather if it cooperates with them and doesnt turn hot and dry. For the first time in seven days, the evening shadow over lake county isnt smoke plumes from the rocky fire but coastal clouds. Today has been the calmest day since the fire started. Reporter the monster wildfire even got a short soaking from some muchneeded rain. I think we got fortunate this morning. We had a pretty good marine layer come in overnight. So we had some cloud cover, temperatures dropped, humidities went up.
