A Munich court sentenced a 27-year-old male nurse to life in prison Monday for murdering two patients by deliberately administering unprescribed drugs so he could be "left in peace".
The 52-year-old defendant named as Ines Andrea R. was convicted of four counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder over the bloodbath at the facility in Potsdam, near Berlin, in April.
