Vijayawada: A Muslim woman is raising funds for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Zahara Begum, organiser at Tahera Trust, is encouraging members of the Muslim community to contribute funds for the temple of the Hindu god Lord Ram.
She recalled how all communities, including Muslims, would often offer donations to support their Hindu brothers and sisters in organising pooja on Vinayak Chaturthi, Dussehra and Ram Navmi. She called it te true spirit and tradition of India - Unity in Diversity .
