Medford City Council Thursday night unanimously approved a contract with Rogue Retreat to operate a homeless center in Medford despite allegations of anti-gay bias against the organization’s executive.

Over three years ago, an idea was formed for a clinic that would serve the students and staff of Legacy Early College as well as the surrounding City View community.
Funded by the St. Francis Foundation a project cost of more than $520,000 the clinic is now open for the school with the hopes of opening access to the community in the next six months to a year. I d like for everybody in this community to have the same access to health care, education, other services that other people in Greenville County have, no matter where they live, William Brown, the school s founder and board chair, said. And, right now that s not true.
